Bike Racks

Bike racks are the easiest way to bring your bicycle with you on road trips. There are many different designs, made by many different manufacturers and designed for a variety of vehicle types. Many models allow for more than one bike to be carried at a time.

Trunk mounted bike racks are among some of the most popular designs. In most cases, an L-shaped frame rests against the back edge of the trunk and the rack is secured using a series of easy to attach and remove straps. These can often carry up to three bikes at a time.

Many manufacturers also make bike racks designed specifically for truck beds. They use bars spanning the bed as a support mechanism for the racks that are welded on top. The front wheel of the bike is removed and the forks attached to the rack, thereby holding the bike in place.
